My vacation is over.  I really, really don't want to get up.  'Cause work is the new school and I don't wanna go!

When I was in school, it seemed like I tapped out my every thought.  Events and observations...plus commenting on icons and fics.  Now I spend a great deal of time customizing a journal I visit very rarely.  Is it the dominance of Real Life that keeps me from writing or just laziness?  I think I need to reassert some of my college life habits.  I ( Read more... )

I think that the world would be a better place without daytime TV.  With the exception of ABC soaps.  On good days.

Today one of my BFFs got married.  It was far away and I was sick.  How do I take that?

Have I lost one of my platonic soul-mates?  She says I'm not losing a friend, but gaining a new one.  But I have definitely lost a chapter of my life.  All I need to do is (wo)man up and turn the bloody page.

I totally shouldn't watch Ghost Hunters before bed.

I just realized that every time I post, I'm listening to music.  More often then not, when my computer's on, which is very often, I've got some headphones on.

I feel so...plugged in.  Which makes me feel vaguely dirty.

Why is the night so orange?

Have you ever listened to the rain as it gets more intense?  It grows and grows until it reaches the peak of its crescendo.  And sometimes, after it's steady for a few moments, there's one more burst of precipitation.  And then it levels off until it's rained itself out. 
And sometimes you don't even notice the quiet.
